How Are Root Canal Procedures Performed?
Infections of the root canals and tooth pulp (nerves, blood vessels, and other soft tissue inside the root canals) are a common occurrence. Our dentists perform root canals with ease and confidence. Your procedure will begin with careful planning based on your dental x-rays. Once you have received a local anesthetic to help numb the pain and sensation, we will drill a tiny hole in the tooth to access and clear out the infected tissue in the root canals. After filling the tooth with a filling material, we may also book a follow-up appointment to check on the root canals and place a dental crown to strengthen the tooth.
